A lot of you already know that Bella and I have been working together for over a year. She’s been my right hand during the photo sessions and this time Bella’s got to have her own senior portraits taken. I had a chance to capture her the way I see her – kind, caring, smart, beautiful, graceful.

When we met for Bella’s Style and Design Consultation at her home, we looked through her wardrobe and put together the outfits. Take a look at the first one in the gallery. Boy, I am glad, we picked up that scarf! Out of may be 20 different ones! As her mom Patty shared later, after the session, this scarf was a gift from her dad, when he came back home after his deployment in Afghanistan. A 10-year-old Afghani girl used to come to the American base selling scarves. It was her dad’s longest deployment away from the family and the gift had so much meaning for them. I am so happy we got to capture this piece of family history!

Bella is a dancer. She has been dancing since she was 2.5 years old. What a dedication! Of course, we had to incorporate some dance moves into her senior session! While she was changing the outfits and getting her hair styled for these shots by talented Stacey from Mane And Cheek https://www.maneandcheek.com, the autumn sun started going down REALLY fast. I didn’t think I had a time to capture the backlit images I had in mind, but the luck was on our side! Check out those dancing shots!

We’ve got a great variety of styles, with dresses from https://www.shopthreesisters.com. The colors worked out perfectly with the natural backdrops that we’ve selected. What a fabulous photo session with a talented girl!
